    Sehr schöner Weg durch wunderschönen Mischwald mit tollen Aussichtspunkten. Den Abstecher zum Drosselfels sollte man unbedingt machen, wenn man gegen der Uhrzeigersinn läuft, sieht man ein Schild und folgt der "DDV"-Markierung, die einen dann wieder zum Hauptweg zurückführt. Auch die beiden anderen Aussichtspunkte "Rentnersitz" und Kanzel liegen nicht direkt am Weg...da muss man einen kleinen Abstecher auf die 4 und die 5 machen. Die 5 ist auch sehr schön, läuft ab der Kanzel ziemlich parallel zur 7 und ist ab da die schönere Wegführung. Man kann auch vom Wanderparkplatz am Friedwald starten.

    Das Kloster Rosenthal ist ein wirklich besonderer und wunderschöner Ort! Das Kloster liegt idyllisch mitten in der Natur und hat eine ganz besondere, ruhige Atmosphäre. Besonders beindruckend ist die lange Geschichte. Bereits im Jahr 1241 wurde das Kloster von Graf Eberhard II. von Eberstein gegründet und 1261 geweiht. Bevor König Adolf von Nassau in dem Speyerer Dom überführt wurde, fand er hier für elf Jahre seine letzte Ruhestätte. Auch der Weg zum Kloster war sehr toll. Man läuft von Kerzenheim über Stauf zu Rosenthal. In Stauf kommt man an einer tollen Burg vorbei. Hier hat man einen weiten Ausblick über die schöne Landschaft von Ramsen bis nach Heidelberg. Hier oben kann man auch wunderbar picknicken mit dieser Aussicht. Eine Route voller Natur, Ruhe und Geschichte - definitiv ein Besuch wert:)

    Der Eiswoog ist sehr schön. Nach der Wanderung kann man sich ganz gemütlich am Eiswoog hinsetzen. Wir waren am Kiosk, das Essen war sehr lecker und die Atmosphäre sehr schön. Mit den kleinen Booten kann man über das Wasser fahren und die stille genießen.

    Ein sehr schöner Wanderweg zur Erdekaut. In der Erdekaut selbst, ist es sehr schön. Es gibt Schafe und Walache, die über die Erdekaut stolzieren, gute Plätze zum Picknicken, Spielplätze für die Kinder und ein gutes Restaurant in der Nähe. Ein schöner Ort, um sich zu erholen.

    Wir sind die Ruinentour heute gelaufen. Die Strecke ist so gut ausgeschildert, das man den Tracker zur Orientierung nicht braucht. Zunächst geht es durch Kerzenheim mit seinen vielen alten Hofreiten. Wir hätten uns hinterher noch unbedingt die protestantische Kirche ansehen müssen, die von Johann Christian Hess entworfen wurde, der auch die Paulskirche in Frankfurt entworfen hat. Es geht dann zunächst durch Offenland nach Eisenberg und dann durch den Wald nach Steinborn. Die Wege sind abwechslungsreich. Hinter Steinborn kommt der sportliche Teil, der steile schmale Aufstieg zur Burgruine - so etwas muss einfach mal sein. An der Straße in Stauf hat man herrliche Aussichten über die Hangkante ins Tal. Dann geht es wieder durch Wald nach Rosental. Sowohl die Klosteranlage mit den umliegenden Gebäuden und dem Weiher war eindrucksvoll. Aber auch der Weg durch den Ort sehr fand ich sehr schön. Die Figuren mit den Info-Tafeln und den QR Codes sind eine gute Idee. Die Wege sind alle gut begehbar, die Tour ist also sehr empfehlenswert. Ich bin auf die andern beiden Etappen der Trilogie gespannt

    Die Hiwweltour ist besonders bei den aktuell doch sehr heißen Temperaturen ein echtes highlight. Viele unterschiedliche Wegarten sorgen für Abwechslung. Wie schon von anderen angemerkt fehlen in dem mittleren Teilstück Bänke oder Sitzgelegenheiten. Die 100 Meter Abstecher zum "Gipfelkreuz" sind ok, es gibt sogar ein Gipfelbuch.
