North Palatinate regional culture and Rockenhausen town history presented in a contemporary way
From the Donnersberg Celts, the 1848 Revolution, "Grumbeerbrieh und Latwergebrot", historical craft guilds to the famous "children" of the town of Rockenhausen - on two levels, the North Palatinate Historical Society presents all kinds of interesting and interesting facts from the history of the North Palatinate region in a completely redesigned exhibition.
The new exhibition is divided into two areas whose unifying theme, in keeping with the museum's name, is "Heimat" ("homeland"): the lower floor highlights the history of the Donnersberg district, and the upper floor that of the town of Rockenhausen. Different design and mediation techniques such as audio stations and video presentations guide visitors through the local history of the Northern Palatinate.
