    Der Drachenfels ist wirklich sehenswert. Die Wege dorthin leider nicht. Der Anteil an breiten Wirtschaftswegen ist extrem hoch. Die Einkehrmöglichkeit mit der Hütte ist top, zumal man hier zwischen Hin- und Rückweg je nach Lust, Uhrzeit und Durst variabel sein kann, da diese zweimal passiert wird. Am Ende der Tour bietet es sich an, ab der Stelle, an der es nach Süden Richtung Kurpfalzpark geht, leicht nach links auf den kleinen Pfad auszuweichen. Dieser läuft zunächst parallel zum breiten Wirtschaftsweg, führt dann über den Rotsteiger Kopf vorbei an einem Haus auf einen steilen Pfad abwärts, ehe man wieder auf die Originalroute trifft. Bei flotter Gangart habe ich für die Tour mit Pause 4 Stunden benötigt.

    Schöner Spaziergang mit den sehenswerten Highlights Blitzröhren und Burg Battenberg mit Aussichtsterrasse, die am Ruhetag der Gastronomie Montag dennoch zur Besichtigung zugänglich war. Insgesamt sollte der Spaziergang auch nicht unterschätzt werden: Der Anstieg vom Wanderparkplatz Krumbachtal via Blitzröhren zur Burg ist durchaus anstrengend, das Stück an der Straße auf dem Bürgersteig durch den Ort ist lang und der Pfad zum Abstieg ins Krumbachtal ist auch wieder steil und dazu noch sehr schmal und sehr schief mit wenig gerader Trittfläche! Den Titel der Tour 'Waldwanderung: Bobenheim am Berg - Battenberg - Krumbachtal' könnte man auch anpassen, da nur etwa die Hälfte der Strecke wirklich im Wald verläuft und man mit dem Ort Bobenheim überhaupt nicht in Berührung kommt - etwa zu 'Wanderung Krumbachtal - Blitzröhren - Battenberg'.

    Das ist wirklich eine sehr schöne Wanderung steht auch genau so in einem älteren Wanderbuch. Aber das ist keine leichte Wanderung ich empfinde die nicht als schwer aber leicht ist sie nicht. Super schöne Wege Einkehr Möglichkeiten und fantastische Ausblicke

    Die Strecke hat uns viel Spaß gemacht und ist in der Wegbeschreibung perfekt wiedergegeben. Der Trailanteil kam mir sogar etwas höher vor, als die genannten 14 %, aber Tour - kein Enduro. Ein, zwei knifflige Stellen wie der S2-Trail runter zur Sägmühle (der nach links umfahren werden kann) oder die kurze Tragepassage (gekennzeichnet) sind kein Problem und es reicht, im Zweifel kurz zu schieben. Strecke ist ansonsten mit etwas Fahrtechnik gut zu bewältigen. Das ein oder andere Schild fehlt. Daher im Zweifel lieber mit GPS-Unterstützung fahren.
