Der Drachenfelsclub von Bad Dürkheim hat 1888 mit der Errichtung der "Kaiser Wilhelm Höhe" zum 90. Geburtstag des Kaisers diesem ein Denkmal gesetzt.
Das Denkmal wurde auf einem Felsen errichtet, der früher "Schöne Aussicht" hieß.
1976 wurde die Turmwarte vom Drachenfelsclub saniert, das Gelände geebnet und Ruhebänke aufgestellt.
1897, zum 100. Geburtstag von Wilhelm wurde die Brüstung hinzugefügt an der ein Reliefbild des Kaisers angebracht war,
welches aber in den folgenden Kriegsjahren verloren ging.
Anlässlich der 1225 Jahrfeier Bad Dürkheims hat der Drachenfelsclub 2003 ein neues Medaillon anbringen lassen.
