The neo-Gothic flag tower, also known as the "coffee grinder" because of its shape, was built by the Drachenfels Club and has crowned one of the most beautiful vineyard locations since 1854: The terraces of Fuchsmantel, constructed from romantic vineyard walls. Benches and tables invite you to rest, for example, along the hiking trail "From Coffee Grinder and Snail Noodles." In the dome hall, you can sit under cover. Four colored pointed arch windows showcase the seasons. A sandstone staircase leads to the observation platform.
The flag tower can be reached as a detour from the circular hiking trail "From Coffee Grinder and Snail Noodles: Seebacher Monastery Circular Trail" or via the "Palatine Wine Trail." A short walk from Schenkenböhlstraße also leads to the viewpoint tower.
