Jockgrim is located on the railway line Schifferstadt - Wörth and is connected to the Karlsruhe tram on the section Germersheim - Wörth. The stop is located at the train station. In May 2018, the Jockgrim station was awarded the title of Hiking Station by the Regional Association for Rail Passenger Transport (ZPSNV).
The ZPSNV awards train stations and stops where the needs of hikers are particularly taken into account. The criteria include an information board for hikers directly at the stop, the designation of the stop in the municipality's media
(brochures and internet), and above all, good connections to attractive hiking trails:
- The Jockgrim stop is located on a section of the Drei-Zabern-Weg, which leads through the Southern Palatinate to Alsace over a total length of 170 kilometers.
- The Otterbachbruch circular trail runs between Rheinzabern and Jockgrim into the Otterbachbruch nature reserve at the edge of the Bienwald forest.
• The Lina-Sommer circular trail, dedicated to the local poetess, begins at the Lina-Sommer-Platz in the Jockgrim Hinterstädtel.
