Kandel railway station is located at the Karlsruhe - Landau - Neustadt/Weinstraße line.
Kandel railway station is on the Karlsruhe - Landau - Neustadt/Weinstraße line. Ticket machines are located directly on the railway tracks. The bus stop directly at the station ensures good connections to the villages in the municipality and beyond.
The station's location makes it an ideal starting point for hikes in the Bienwald forest, which is why it has been labelled a "hiking station".
The station building currently houses a kiosk. Public toilets are also available.
Opposite the station building is the tourist office of Südpfalz Tourismus Kandel e.V. and the "Gleis 3" restaurant.
