Circular hike tracing the history of tobacco cultivation along the Southern Wine Route. The approximately 13 km long route passes through Herxheim, Hayna, and Hatzenbühl. These places form the center of former tobacco cultivation in the region. In addition to numerous tobacco sheds, the flowering of the tobacco plants around these locations can be admired at the end of August/beginning of September. The entire route is accessible with a stroller.

Please check current instructions before you visit Schwimmpark on www.vg-bellheim.de. Harty welcome in Schwimmpark Bellheim. The pool area is one of the best places in Palatinate to stay cool in summer. 50 m-sports pool, a jump-tower with different high-boards (up to 5 m), a pool with water-massage and special offers to small childern makes shure that any age will have a good time. The highlight is a 70m - racing - slide with 3 rails. At the end of the slide is a dislplay which shows your current speed! Cold and warm beverage and snaks are avaliable at the kiosk.
