Just like the main HuNaX route, the HuNaX NordLoop also starts in Türkismühle and ends in Bad Kreuznach. Thanks to its connection to the Nahetalbahn railway, this physically demanding loop can be combined with the main route to form a long circular tour or ridden as a standalone multi-day tour. The route offers a varied journey through the Primstal Valley to Kell am See, then on through Hermeskeil, Morbach, Kirchberg, the castle town of Kastellaun, and Emmelshausen into the Middle Rhine Valley. The route then passes through the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park and the Nahe wine region before finally reaching the spa town of Bad Kreuznach.
Thanks to its connection to larger towns, the HuNaX NordLoop offers numerous comfortable and bike-friendly accommodations, as well as plenty of places to stop for refreshments and shopping. Compared to the main HuNaX route, there is a higher proportion of paved surfaces, making the route easily rideable even in inclement weather.
Due to the topography typical of low mountain ranges, you can expect some steep climbs and descents!
