The Argenthaler Waldsee is an idyllic, natural swimming area in the middle of the Soonwald in Vorderhunsrück and is considered one of the most beautiful in the low mountain range. The approximately 0.8 ha large lake was formed from a historical ore pit and offers a shallow non-swimming zone – perfect for families with children. Surrounded by hiking trails like the Geo Experience Trail, it invites relaxation, hiking, and lingering.
The Waldsee restaurant with its outdoor terrace invites you to stay with food and drinks and a magnificent view of the lake.
Dogs, barbecues, boats, and stand-up paddling are not allowed!
