Experience your multi-day gravel fairytale in the Hunsrück-Nahe region through the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, the Idarwald, the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park and idyllic wine country!

Between Türkismühle and Bad Kreuznach stations, almost 150 kilometers of nature and adventure await you and your gravel bike in the Hunsrück-Nahe region. Immerse yourself in the rustic forests of the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and the Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park. Pause for a moment and let your gaze wander over the vast meadows, fields and hills as everyday life recedes into the distance. At the end of the tour, Bad Kreuznach is the perfect end to the tour.

Spend the night in the open air? This is possible at the three trekking camps in the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park near the Kletischer Ringwall near Otzenhausen, the Erbeskopf and the Wildenburg! We ask you to be considerate of other visitors on the narrow access paths and to push your bike! Also show consideration for nature and follow our tour suggestions. In the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park, cycling is only permitted on designated paths.

The tour can easily be divided into three stages, see route description.

    Author’s recommendation

Plan your food stops in advance! Some of these can only be reached via a detour. Find out about the current opening times before your tour. The tour is aimed at fit gravel bikers due to the altitude difference to be covered. You can easily split the tour into two or three days!
