Die Almenwelt in und rund um die Kärntner Nockberge und rund um den Millstätter See bietet ein einzigartiges Naturerlebnis. Genussvoll wandern und dabei Zeit zu zweit zelebrieren am “Weg der Liebe. Sentiero dell’ Amore.” bis zum imposanten Granattor, oder eine anspruchsvolle Bergtour auf den höchsten Gipfel der Kärntner Nockberge - den Rosennock (2.440 Meter) unternehmen: Hier findet jeder sein persönliches Berg-Erlebnis. Oder wie wäre es mit magischen Momenten bei einer Sonnenaufgangswanderung am Falkert? Im UNESCO Biosphärenpark Kärntner Nockberge erschließt sich eine einzigartige Fauna und Flora. Hier beheimatet ist einer der größten in sich geschlossenen Zirbenwälder der Alpen oder der “echte Speick”, der unter Naturschutz steht und sonst nirgends wächst.
Mit der Benutzung der Bergbahnen (Bad Kleinkirchheim, Turracher Höhe oder Goldeck) geht es auf Wunsch auch bequem dem Gipfelglück entgegen. Wem ein Gipfelsieg allein nicht reicht, plant seine mehrtägige Tour auf dem Nockberge-Trail, Österreichs beliebtesten Weitwanderweg. Er führt in acht Etappen vom Katschberg, über die Turracher Höhe und dem Falkert bis Bad Kleinkirchheim und weiter bis zum Millstätter See. Die Magie des Etappenwanderns steht auch am “Via Paradiso" im Fokus. In vier Tagen wandert man auf dem Höhenplateau rund um den Millstätter See - stets mit unvergesslichen See- und Bergberührungen®, die einem begleiten.

Die Tourismusregion Millstätter See - Bad Kleinkirchheim - Nockberge bietet für jede Vorliebe die perfekte Radtour. Rennradfahrer lieben eine Tour auf der 35 Kilometer langen Nockalmstraße mit ihren 52 Kehren - eine der schönsten Panoramastraßen Österreichs. Genuss-Biker radeln auf 28 Kilometern rund um den Millstätter See - entlang des bewaldeten Südufers - und haben dabei den See für einen Sprung ins bis zu 27 Grad warme Wasser stets in Sicht. Mit den Naturtrails geht es auf die saftigen Almen. Ein Muss für jeden begeisterten Biker sind die Nock-lake-Trails, die von der Kaiserburg-Bergstation nach Feld am See führen. Sie versprechen wahre Sonnenschein-Momente auf zwei Rädern. Diese Naturtrails laden ein, am Ende der Bike-Tour den malerischen Brennsee mit seinem umfassenden Wassersportangebot zu genießen. Ebenso die Naturtrails auf der Millstätter Alm oder der Turracher Höhe begeistern passionierte Biker- ein Einkehrschwung in einer der urigen Hütten darf natürlich nicht fehlen. Einzigartig ist das Bike-Erlebnis auf dem Flow Country Trail in Bad Kleinkirchheim - der längste seiner Art in Europa - oder auf dem Kornock Flowtrail auf der Turracher Höhe. Nachwuchsbiker sind auf der Turracher Höhe ebenso in besten Händen. Bei einem Besuch im Kornock Kids- und Übungsgelände ist ein spielerischer Einstieg in den Bikesport garantiert.

Bereit zum Eintauchen in die Kärntner Seenlandschaft? Zum Sprung in das bis zu 27 Grad warme Wasser lädt der Millstätter See. Das Juwel in Kärnten. Gäste sind fasziniert von seinem smaragdgrünen Wasser - eine Farbstimmung, die ihm ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal verleiht. Nur wenige Kilometer entfernt liegt der malerische Brennsee.
