Path of love: From the Alexanderhütte to the Granattor on Lake Millstatt
"The path of love. Sentiero dell'amore" starts at the Alexanderhütte with the "Wall of Love" and leads over the Millstätter Alpe to the Granattor.
Seven stations invite you to write down your thoughts on love.
The "Path of Love" begins at the Alexanderhütte with the "Wall of Love", which is thought-provoking. The first half hour to the Millstätter Hütte is suitable for baby carriages, after which the trail becomes more challenging and leads along a hiking trail to the impressive Granattor.
Beautiful values and words
Seven stations along the way invite you to reflect on love and write down your own thoughts. Whether sitting on the benches or during the hike - there is always an opportunity to record your personal thoughts. The trail leads through enchanting alpine landscapes that support the feeling of togetherness. During the hike, there are always far-reaching views of Lake Millstätter See and the surrounding mountains of the UNESCO Carinthian Nockberge Biosphere Reserve.
Ruby red stone sparkle
If you look closely, you can also find the "stone of love", the garnet. This hike is not only a journey of discovery through nature, but also a journey to yourself and your own feelings.
"Understanding - trust and enjoying together strengthens love and cohesion for 48 years of marriage" - Rudi with Gertrude

Correct behavior in the mountains
- Careful tour planning based on descriptions and hiking maps is essential for the success of a mountain tour.
- It is equally important to correctly assess the mountain experience, fitness, surefootedness, head for heights and resilience of all participants.
- Never leave the marked hiking trails and avoid shortcuts.
- Find out about the weather conditions before the hike and return to the valley if the weather deteriorates.
- The mountains are there for everyone. It is the duty of every hiker to help maintain them and keep them clean. Take waste down into the valley and protect the flora and fauna.
