Roadbook
The starting point of the circular hike is the hiking parking lot at the Igelborner Hut, located on the hiking trail marked "white-blue bar," which is managed at certain times by the Winnweiler local group in the Palatinate Forest Club.
From the hut, follow the mentioned trail westward. The district road 4 (K 4) is crossed, then walk right towards Kahlheckerhof; shortly after, follow the Kahlhecker path briefly left and then continue on the white-blue trail turning right towards Hochstein. It goes downhill almost to the Winnweiler sewage plant behind Hochstein, where the path then turns left uphill towards Thronfels. It continues over Thronfels above Kahlheckerhof to the next left turn, which is followed back to K 4. The existing white-blue marking is followed uphill until it turns left; however, the trail goes straight over the Igelborner Höhe until the next opportunity to turn left back to the starting point at the Igelborner Hut.
