A balatonfüredi Tamás-hegyen áll a háromemeletes, fából készült Jókai-kilátó. A tetejéről rálátunk Balatonfüredre és a Tihanyi-félszigetre, az itteni balatoni panorámának ez egyedi képet ad. A Lóczy-barlangtól vagy a Tamás-hegyi kereszttől is jelzett turistaút vezet fel a hegycsúcsra.
A balatonfüredi Tamás-hegyen áll a háromemeletes, fából készült Jókai-kilátó. A tetejéről csodás panoráma tárul elénk, rálátunk Balatonfüred házaira, jellegzetes épületeire, valamint a teljes Tihanyi-félszigetre, ami a balatoni panorámának kétségkívül egyedi képet ad. A Lóczy-barlangtól vagy a Tamás-hegyi kereszttől is indulhatunk, mindkét irányból jelzett turistaút vezet fel a hegycsúcsra. Akárhonnan is megyünk, azért arra számítsunk, hogy meredek lesz az emelkedő, a barlangtól vezető zöld háromszög jelzésen ráadásul apró kavicsos, ami igencsak csúszós tud lenni.
A Kilátó utcából elérhető Tamás-hegyi kereszttől indulva máris egy másik nagyszerű kilátópontról indulunk, a Balatoni Kéktúra kék sáv jelzésén, ami egyben az Aranyember tanösvény is. A 600 méter hosszú tanösvényen Jókai Mór Az arany ember című regényének szereplőiről elnevezett hat hangulatos pihenőhelyen még sokáig csodálhatjuk a páratlan panorámát. Felfelé haladva a hegyre választhatunk, hogy Noémi, Tíméa, Athalie vagy Tímár Mihály padjánál pihenünk meg. Olvassuk el a tájékoztató táblákat is, amelyek a természetvédelmi terület védett ritkaságairól, a környék növény- és állatvilágáról tájékoztatnak. Mire az utolsó állomást is "kiolvassuk", felérünk a kilátóhoz, és nincs más dolgunk, mint gyönyörködni a kilátásban.

Public transport
- A Veszprém és Balatonfüred közt közlekedő busszal a Balatonfüred, Tamási Áron utca megállóig menjünk. Mindkét városban a vasútállomás melletti buszpályudvaron szállhatunk fel a járatra.

- A buszmegállóból a Tamási Áron utcán induljunk el felfelé. A Kilátó utcáig megyünk, ahol jobbra a K jelzést követve jutunk el a Tamás-hegyi keresztig. Továbbmegyünk a K-n, ami elvezet a kilátóhoz (1,3 km).
- A Kilátó utcai parkolóból a K jelzés és az Aranyember útja tanösvény táblája jelzi a lépcsősort a kereszt, majd a kilátó felé.
- A Lóczy-barlangtól a Z▲ jelzés vezet föl a kilátóhoz (800 m).
Parking
- A Kilátó utcában, a Tamás-hegyi kereszt alatt találunk néhány autónak elég parkolót.
- A Lóczy-barlangnál is tudunk parkolni.
