- A Gyöngyös, Főiskola buszmegállóból a S jelzésű turistaúton jutunk fel a Sár-hegy csúcsaira (2,9 km, 299 m szintemelkedés).
- Az Abasár, községháza buszmegállóból a ᵯ jelzéseken induljunk el a Sár-hegy felé, majd a Szent Anna-kápolnánál forduljunk balra a S jelzésű turistaútra (3,8 km, 297 m szintemelkedés).
- A gyöngyösi autóbusz-pályaudvarról a 24-es főút mentén induljunk el északi irányba, majd forduljunk jobbra a S jelzésű turistaútra (4 km, 295 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- Az abasári szerpentin kilátóhelyénél kiépített parkolóhelyet találunk, de ha bevállaljuk a földutat, egészen a kápolna mellé is eljuthatunk autóval.
- Gyöngyösön a Felsőújváros kisvasúti megállóhely mellett érdemes hagyni az autót.
