Nyúlmály megállóhely Gyöngyös északi határában helyezkedik el, ahol a lakott területet a mezőgazdasági célú területek – elsősorban szőlőültetvények – váltják fel. A forgalmas 24-es út túloldalán található az Eszterházy Károly Egyetem kollégiuma, az innenső oldalon a Sár-hegy lábához vezető dűlőutat egy kőkereszt őrzi.
A kisvasút oldala a Természetjárón itt érhető el.
