Szántódon közvetlenül a kerékpárút mentén, a Csokonai tér és a Móricz Zsigmond utca sarkán, a révhez vezető Tihany utca elágazásában találjuk a szervizoszlopot, aminek szerszámaival elvégezhetjük az egyszerűbb javításokat. Mellette asztalokat, padokat, fedett pihenőt, masszív kerékpártárolókat is elhelyeztek. Az egyik tábla Szántódot, valamint a közeli Balatonföldvárt és Zamárdit mutatja be, a másikon pedig egy bringás térkép kapott helyet, ami a Balaton körül futó kerékpárutat, valamint nagyobb méretarányban a környéket, a látnivalókat, a bringakörből kiágazó kerékpárutakat ismerteti.
A közeli révmegállóból akár az északi partra is átutazhatunk a Balaton legszűkebb részén át Tihanyba.
