A nagyjából 100x100 méteres területet főként árnyéktalan, füves területek jellemzik. Fontos megjegyezni, hogy a strandon nem is nagyon vannak árnyékot adó elemek, ezt vegyük figyelembe indulás előtt, és vigyünk magunkkal napernyőt, vagy béreljünk egyet a helyszínen.
A parton büfé és illemhely gondoskodik a vendégek kényelméről, valamint a gyerekek néhány játékelemet is találnak itt. A meder az első métereken kicsit iszapos, de beljebb megfelelő minőségű.
Nyitvatartás: júniustól szeptemberig napkeltétől napnyugtáig van hivatalosan nyitva a bejárat, de gyakorlatilag bármikor látogatható a strand. A büfé a főszezonban 8 és 20 között óra között tart nyitva. A parti sávban nincs közvilágítás, így csak sötétedésig használható fürdésre.

- Ha vonattal érkezünk, a Szántód-Kőröshegy állomáson szálljunk le.

- Leszállva a vonatról, átmegyünk az aluljárón, jobbra fordulunk a Gyulai Jenő utcán. 450 méter múlva forduljunk balra az Aranyhíd utcán, vagy a következő, Rigó utcán, és az utca végén taáljuk a strandot (800 m).
Parking
- A Rigó utcában kialakítottak egy parkolót a strand mellett, de a környező utcákban is ingyenes a parkolás.
