The Wasgauhütte (also Schwanheimer Hütte) is a managed refuge in the Palatinate Forest. It is located in the Wasgau in a south-westerly direction above the village of Schwanheim and below the Kühhunger Rock (422 m). The hut was opened in 1969 and lies at an altitude of 324 m.It does not offer overnight accommodation.
In the cosy hikers' hut you can enjoy delicious Palatinate specialities and exquisite wines.
