Oberschlettenbach Heights Path from Bühlhof tavern, scenic circular route

The first 1.5 km leads through the village of Oberschlettenbach to its cemetery. Then it continues over fields before entering the forest just before Haselstein. Haselstein is circled to then continue hiking towards Schwanheim. Shortly before the village you can take a break 50 m beside the route in the Wasgau hut ( https://www.tourenplaner-rheinland-pfalz.de/de/huette/wasgauhuette/24292123/ ). Then proceed to the Kühhunger Rock viewpoint. From here begins a particularly beautiful section of the route along the ridge/backbone of Schindberg. Descent on the slopes of Heßlerberg. The conclusion is the ridge hike on Löffelberg with its old “stone man army” and great viewpoint over the Wasgau and southwest to the castles Lindelbrunn and Madenburg. Then a short way back to the starting point. Orientation: partially marked (see photos), those unfamiliar with the area need map or GPS.
