An authentic, less-traveled path connecting two historic religious sites. Experience the wilder, more spiritual side of the Akrotiri peninsula.
This trail is a challenge for true hikers, connecting the majestic Gouverneto Monastery with the historic Metochi of St. Anthony. Although the path is less marked, it offers an authentic experience of the Cretan countryside. As you walk, feel the energy of the ascetics who once inhabited these lands, in a landscape that combines spirituality with rugged natural beauty.
