The route follows the SW Coast Path from the gates of mount Edgcumbe at Cremyll to Porthwinkle via Rame Head, staying Lowe whenever possible and only including a short section of the military road. It is muddy in places, with single track sections, as well as being deceptively undulating.

Starting on the other side of the Fowey estuary in the little town of Polruan. From there, you head east out of the town towards Looe, where you cross over the estuary. You then follow the coast path around until you reach the small coastal village of Kingsand, just west of Plymouth.

A stunning course right around the headland of Rame Head

Lovely picturesque and peaceful 10km run around the perimeter of beautiful Tresco. Half on pavement and half on well defined tracks, with only a few minutes of tough terrain in the entire run. Also a great walk if you don’t fancy the run!

The route starts and finishes in Cremyll, close to the Edcumbe Arms.  It follows the SW Coast path to Downderry and back, with stunning views over Rame Head and some untamed sections of the coastline, with smugglers coves, shooting ranges (check before you run or take a detour) and historic buildings and follies. 

The Run on the Edge half marathon starts and finishes in Cremyll, at the Edgcumbe Arms. From Cawsand, takes the Pier Lane NOT the Earl's Drive and back the same way. Avoids the Military Road.

NOTE 10K out and back via Kingsand, starting and finishing in Cremyll, close to the Edgcumbe Arms.
