Dub Troják

It is located at a significant crossroad in the middle of the forest unit Kohoutovická baba, west of the Brno borough Kohoutovice. It got its name from three roads leading from there for centuries to Kohotovice, Žebětín and Bosonoh. This was the oldest way from Kohoutovice to the cemetery in Žebětín - the last journey of the dead to eternal rest. In 2008, several branches of the tree were damaged, so it was treated and the fallen part was left at the habitat around the tree as a valuable habitat for many organisms. The circumference of the oak trunk at a breast height is 375 cm, reaches a height of 23 m and its age is estimated at 220 years. The oak was declared a memorable tree in 1987.
