Viewpoint overlooking the Gorge of Mana
From this point the gorge of Mana is visible. The gorge is an inaccessible area, wild and beautiful. In recent years, the wild animals and birds that have remained and that once abounded in the wider area have found a refuge here. In Mana there are springs that water the village of Pertouli today, but also in older times as evidenced by the remains of the "kiougki" (clay or concrete sewer pipe), which we do not know exactly when it was built. Built with stone and mortar, egg white, the well-known "kurasani" for watertightness, it is a very old construction and is believed to have been difficult to built for its time.
