The stone arch bridge near Spálený mlýn in the Bobrava Valley is one of the symbols of the Bobrava Nature Park. It was probably built in the late 18th or early 19th century and still stands out for its craftsmanship and value in the landscape. It provided access to Spálený mlýn (mentioned in historical sources as early as the 14th century) and was also an important link between the cadastral areas of Ořechov and Střelice. For decades, the bridge withstood water, frost and time—until weathering, heavy use and erosion brought it into a critical condition. Plans for reconstruction existed for a long time, but property ownership issues made it impossible. A major turning point came in early 2025, when concrete steps toward reconstruction began. The repair was also supported by donations from local people and neighboring municipalities through a fundraising campaign. Today, the bridge is safe again and preserved for future generations.
