We offer, by prior arrangement, the possibility to visit the vineyards, to have a professional tour of the wine cellar, to taste the wines as well as our local cured meat delicacies, egg dish, and various cheeses. For more demanding groups we prepare typical hot Goriška Brda dishes with selected wines. It is also possible to purchase wines.
Our home is in Ceglo, right on the Slovene-Italian border, with vineyards partly at the one and partly at the other side of the border. We coltivate 14 hectares of vineyards, 4 in Italy and 10 in Slovenia. Natural conditions such as soil, geographical location and weather provide a unique terroir for vine growth and maturation of many grape varieties.
Our wine cellar, which is the heart of the entire estate, is located at latitude 45°58'35'', i.e. in the zone of the world's best conditions for vine growth: a little more north of Bordeaux and a little more south than Burgundy.
This is our presentation room, where Melita takes care of the reception while Marko leads the degustations for guests visiting the estate. We can arrange a shorter or longer guided tastings, that can – in cooperation with selected restaurants from the neighbourhood – evolve in a complete encounters with our wines and Brda's cuisine. Reservations are required.
