Over 50 years ago, citizens of Schweigen-Rechtenbach established the 1st German Wine Educational Trail, which quickly became a visitor magnet and found fans far beyond the borders of the Southern Palatinate. With time, a comprehensive redesign became necessary. After one year of construction with financial support from EU funding (Leader), the new Wine Educational Trail was opened at the start of the 2021 season.

You can obtain extensive information at these stations:

3rd Station "Pests" with the phylloxera monument, information about vine pests and vine diseases

4th Station "St. Urban", information about the wine saints

6th Station "Ehrenhain", information about the lives of honored wine personalities
