More than 50 years ago, Schweigen-Rechtenbach citizens created the 1st German Wine Educational Trail, which quickly became a visitor magnet and found its friends far beyond the borders of the Southern Palatinate. Over the years, a comprehensive redesign was inevitable and we are pleased that after a year of construction with financial support from EU funding (Leader), we can open the new wine trail at the beginning of the 2021 season.
As before, the educational wine trail begins and ends at the wine press at the German Wine Gate. There is a corresponding notice on the opening days of the Sonnenberghütte.
