Winery Scheu - border crossers in terms of wine. 50% of the vineyards are located in Germany 50% in France.
The special thing about our wines particularly authentic. The production of good wines is an art that requires great skill, commitment and passion.
Our vineyards cover 14 hectares of vines. The varieties Riesling (about one third), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Scheurebe and Gewürztraminer are cultivated with a plant density of about 6000 vines per hectare. Most of the area is located on French territory in Alsace, which earned us the name "border crossers". Open borders, we have them. Half of our vineyards are located in France. So we are border crossers in the geographical sense, every day. Borders challenge us, in overcoming them we grow. Also in the production of our wines, we cross or move borders with our ideas, again and again.
