Bad Sooden-Allendorf is nestled in a gentle low mountain landscape at the tri-border area Hessen-Thuringia-Lower Saxony in the beautiful Werra valley. The Werra winds right through the charming half-timbered town, and the Hohe Meißner, the "King of the Hessian Mountains" (754 m), sends its foothills right up to the town gates.
