Directions
Through the federal highways B27 and B80, the half-timbered town in the Werra valley is connected to the highways A7 (north-south) and A44 and A5 (east-west) for travel traffic.
Visitors from the north leave the highway at the Drammetal interchange via the exit to the A38 towards Leipzig, exit Friedland, and follow the B27 towards Bad Sooden-Allendorf/Eschwege.
Guests from the south use the A7 highway exit Bad Hersfeld and follow the B27 towards Eschwege/Bad Sooden-Allendorf.
From the east, leave the A4 at the Wommen exit and then stay on the B400/B27 towards Bad Sooden-Allendorf/Eschwege.
From the west via the A44, you reach the highway A7 towards Hannover via the Kassel highway interchange and leave it via the Werratal exit.
