A vízi rendőrség mögötti szabadstrandon található a kutyás fürdőhely. A hosszan elnyúló, szép füves parton vannak szemetesek, illetve kihelyezett kutyagumizacskók, így könnyedén megőrizhetjük a partszakasz tisztaságát. A vízbe hagyományos strandlépcső vezet, de külön rámpát is beállítottak a kutyáknak.
A vízbe a hagyományos strandlépcső mellett külön rámpa is segíti a kutyák vízbe jutását. A vízparti hullámtörő köveken is kijutnak az ebek, ám ezek elég iszaposak, csúszósak, így figyeljünk kedvencünkre.
A fürdőhelyről szemkápráztató panoráma nyílik a szemközti Badacsonyra.

- Vonattal érkezve a Fonyód állomáson szálljunk le.

- Az állomástól induljunk a kikötő felé. A vízirendőrség és egy szabadstrand után találjuk a kutyás strandot (700 m).
