The hiking station Rülzheim is an ideal starting point for hiking tours in the region.
From the hiking station in Rülzheim, you can reach the "Treidlerweg" on foot via the Palatinate Jakob Route. The 12 km long "Treidlerweg" is a premium hiking trail and leads through the "Palatinate Primeval Forest," one of the few internationally protected and still ecologically intact floodplain landscapes.

Opening times
The hiking station Ruelzheim (the regular station in Ruelzheim) has no closing times as a public stop and is constantly accessible. Since it is purely an infrastructure facility for local public transport and serves as a starting point for hikes, there are no conventional opening hours for access to the platforms and the information boards there. The trains of the urban railway operate in accordance with the Rheinland-Pfalz timetable.
