Diósgyőr megállóhely az Előhegy utca aszfaltcsíkja: a kerítések előtt elhaladó vonatról egy hatalmas szelídgesztenyefa alatt lehet leszállni (illetve arra felszállni), a Diósgyőri temető közvetlen közelben. A kisvasút megállóhelyei közül innen közelíthető meg legkönnyebben a diósgyőri vár.
Diósgyőr megállóhely feltételes megállóhely, azaz a vonatok csak akkor állnak itt meg, ha van le- vagy felszálló utas.
