A kilátó
Zalaköveskút a Zalai-dombság keleti felén, Hévíztől 10 kilométerre északra található. A falu határában levő 270 méter magas dombon építették meg 2011-ben a fából készült, igen stabil, 12 méter magas kémlelőtornyot. A körbejárható, tágas panorámaszinten a Zalai-dombság bájos hullámai urajlák a tájképet. A környék települései közül a közeli Hévíz és Keszthely a legszembetűnőbb, de az épített környezetet képviseli Rezi, Tátika, és távolabb Sümeg vára is. A fák között megpillanthatjuk a zalaszántói sztúpát, sőt tiszta időben a zalaegerszegi tévétorony csúcsos antennáját is kivehetjük a messzi távolban.
A névadó
Az építményt az albán származású Kalkuttai Szent Teréz (1910-1997) római katolikus apácáról, közismert nevén Teréz anyáról nevezték el, aki az indiai Kolkata szegénynegyedeiben végzett áldozatos munkája révén vált világszerte ismertté.
Miután szerzetesnek állt Indiában, egy útja során megtapasztalta a mélyszegénység nyomorát. Ekkor ráébredt, hogy az ő küldetése nem a kolostor kényelmes falai között végzett szolgálat, hanem a legszegényebbek segítése, felkarolása. Megalapította a Szeretet Misszionáriusai szerzetesrendet, ami aztán világszerte otthont adott nincstelen, kitaszított embereknek.
Teréz anya számos magas kitüntetése mellett 1979-ben Nobel-békedíjat kapott.

- A buszmegállóból déli irányba induljunk a fő úton, majd a falut elhagyva, 200 m után térjünk a balra kiágazó jelzetlen földútra, ami a kilátóig vezet (összesen 800 m, 70 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- A falu déli határától 200 méterre kiágazó földútnál lehet a kilátóhoz legközelebb parkolni; innen kényelmes sétával közelíthető meg a kilátó.
- Akár a faluban is letehetjük az autót.
