If you are in good shape, you can start in the valley; if you want to take it easier, you can take the cable car to the top. Browse through our huge selection of mountain tours and Tyrol and discover the peaks, huts and vast landscapes of this beautiful province.

The most beautiful mountain huts in Tyrol

The crowning glory of any mountain tour is the view of a cosy hut near the summit, and Tyrol offers an unparalleled density of such mountain huts. In the northern Alps of Tyrol, well-known hiking destinations such as the Gruttenhütte and the Bad Küssinger Hütte are just waiting to be explored. These huts are not only ideal for a relaxing break, but also offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Those who venture towards the main Alpine ridge will find mountain tours to traditional huts such as the Hochstubaihütte or the Brandenburgerhaus. Here, however, you are already in the realm of challenging alpine tours that require a certain amount of experience and equipment. Enjoy the majestic beauty of Tyrol on your mountain adventures and be enchanted by the charming mountain huts that this region has to offer.

Mountain tours with cable car support in Tyrol

In Tyrol, you can also experience many unforgettable mountain adventures with cable car support. Thanks to the numerous cable cars, a large number of peaks can be easily reached in summer. The lifts not only shorten the ascent time, but also make it possible to start the mountain tour directly with a breathtaking view.

Tirol is proud of its 26 award-winning summer mountain lifts, which guarantee the highest level of quality and safety. Whether you are in the Rofan, Ötztal or Zillertal, the mountain lifts will quickly take you one floor higher, where spectacular panoramas await you.

Thanks to the energy saved on the ascent, you can embark on more challenging mountain tours and enjoy the beauty of the Tyrolean mountains to the full.

A one-day mountain tour in Tyrol is nice, but even more impressive is a multi-day mountain tour along a high-altitude trail in the majestic Tyrolean Alps. On these high-altitude trails, the route leads from hut to hut, usually without arduous descents into the valley, so that you are always hiking at a high level and enjoying breathtaking views.

But which is the most beautiful high-altitude trail tour in Tyrol? Answering this question is no easy task, as the choice is almost endless and each mountain group in Tyrol has its own unique charms and beauty.

Der Obernberger See liegt sehr idyllisch.
