Herzlich willkommen auf dem Brandenburger Haus!
Hoch über der Gletscherwelt der Ötztaler Alpen oberhalb der Scheidelinie zwischen Gepatsch- und Kesselwandferner thront das Brandenburger Haus. Wer es bis hierhin - ein Zugang ist nur über Gletscher mit spaltenreichen Stellen, so dass eine Seilschaft mehr als empfehlenswert ist - geschafft hat, wird von einer grandiosen Aussicht auf einige der höchsten Berge der Ostalpen belohnt.
Obwohl das Haus selbst nur wenige Meter unterhalb eines Gipfels (der Dahmannspitze liegt, bietet es mit Hintereisspitzen, Fluchtkogel und Weißseespitze mehrere weitere Bergziele an.
Angesichts der Lage ist die Ausstattung des Hauses sehr einfach, so hat es z.B. keine Duschen - wir sind froh, die Saison über überhaupt Wasser zu haben - aber eine beheizte Gaststube, was Gäste bei schlechterem Wetter zu schätzen wissen.
