Roadbook
The descent via the east ridge through partly steep gravel gullies to the Kreuzjöchl (2121 m) is no longer as exposed, but still requires surefootedness.
The descent from the Kreuzjöchl can be done either
Take the path southwards via Vintlalm, Rumeralm and Arzleralm back to Hungerburg (see track).
Or we can take the path towards Pfeishütte and return to the cable car mountain station.
The third option leads via the Arzlerscharte (gravel path) to the Arzleralm and the Hungerburg.
