The holiday apartment Berg is located in the idyllic village of Berg in the southern Palatinate, just a few hundred meters from the German-French border. The quiet location on the southern edge of the Palatinate makes the accommodation an ideal starting point for relaxing yet active vacation days in one of the most beautiful border regions of Germany.
Surrounded by fields, Rhine wetlands, and the nearby Bienwald, Berg offers a nature-friendly environment with high recreational value. At the same time, guests benefit from a very good infrastructure in the village itself: A bakery is reachable within about 6 minutes on foot, as well as a butcher shop directly in the village center. For daily shopping, a Netto market is located about 2 km away.
The cities of Kandel (approximately 10 km / 10–15 minutes), Wörth am Rhein (approximately 8 km / about 10 minutes), and Karlsruhe (25–35 minutes) are also easily accessible.
The location is particularly attractive for active vacationers: The Rhine cycle path or the German-French Pamina cycle path "Lautertal" is just a stone's throw away, as are the hiking trails in the Bienwald, Rhine wetlands, or Palatinate Forest. Excursions to Alsace are also possible within a few minutes – the border to France is practically "around the corner".
