Geographically, Wang is located about 25 km northeast of Munich and is surrounded by picturesque landscapes with rolling hills and green forests. The region is known for its many lakes and rivers as well as the nearby Alps.

There are many tourist attractions: Visit, for example, the baroque church of St. Georg or the 17th century Wang Castle with its impressive park grounds. The historic town centre also invites you to stroll around.

Cultural highlights can also be discovered: The annual cultural festival offers concerts, theatre performances and exhibitions at various locations in the area. Another highlight is the traditional folk festival in summer - here you can enjoy Bavarian specialities and have a good time.

For culinary connoisseurs, Wang also has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as Weißwurst (white sausage) or Brezen (pretzels) with Obatzda in a cosy local restaurant.

If you like to be active, then you should definitely devote yourself to outdoor activities - hiking or cycling through the idyllic landscapes around Wang are particularly beautiful in spring or autumn when the leaves are glowing. In winter, the nearby ski resorts entice you to take part in winter sports.

And what do you do in Wang when it rains? Don't worry - there's plenty to do even in bad weather! Visit the local museum or relax at the Erding thermal baths, just 15 minutes away from Wang.
