The St. Jacob's Way continues with the red KČT signs to the Austrian border from the square down, then Piaristů Street, past the swimming pool and after crossing the main road to the football field in Republikánské obrany Street. After a while, the pilgrimage route crosses the railway line and still leads straight along the old asphalt road (signal) to the state border. For the last 300 m before the border, the asphalt road disappears and turns into a grassy path along an overgrown draw. The route is 3.5 km from the square to the state border, in Austria the St. Jacob's Way continues on an asphalt road to Kleinschweinbarth (3.5 km), Falkenstein (9 km) and Poysdorf, Mistelbach, Großrußbach, Stockerau and Krems an der Donau.
The St. Jacob's Way in Austria can also be reached in the more east-facing Drasenhofen at the entrance to the beautiful Kaiserstraße cellar alley.
