Pohronská castle route

The Pohronská castle route is a great cycling route for experienced cyclists who enjoy challenging descents and are also interested in the history and nature of Slovakia. The route takes us through various places with historical values, such as ruins and restored castles and manor houses, like Pustý hrad, Šášov Castle, and Revište Castle.

At the same time, we will enjoy views of beautiful nature with wild forest corners and picturesque Slovak villages. Along the way, we will have the opportunity to admire nice views of meadows and travel on asphalt, as well as reinforced and unpaved forest and meadow paths. This combination of surfaces will bring a diverse experience and allow us to test our cycling skills.

It is important to keep in mind that this route is reserved for experienced cyclists because the descents can be challenging and require a certain level of technical skill. We have the option to divide the track into sections, choosing less technically demanding parts.
