Hrad Revište, týčiaci sa na strmom brale nad Hronom pri Žarnovici, patrí k obľúbeným turistickým a rodinným výletom. Vďaka aplikácii rozšírenej reality môžete hrad uvidieť z čias jeho slávy v 17. storočí.
Hrad Revište sa nachádza nad obcou Revištské Podzámčie (cca 6 km od Žarnovice).V časoch najväčšej slávy sa o hrad Revište bilo mnoho pánov. Majitelia sa od začiatku 14. storočia striedali jedna radosť. Kedysi mal 3 poschodia, 2 veže, delovú baštu, nádvorie predelené múrom, cisternu a na jednom z múrov bol aj veľký balkón, kde sa slnečnému kúpeľu oddávali jeho páni.

Na hrad Revište sa dostanete z dolného (po asfaltovej ceste) alebo horného parkoviska (cez les) po žltej turistickej značke. Priamo k nemu vedie náučný chodník Po stopách vlastníkov hradu Revište. V hradom areáli prebiehajú stále záchranné rekonštrukčné práce, sprístupnené je nádvorie a v letnej sezóne delová bašta a severná veža.
