The route starts with a gentle climb on the asphalt road of Gaderská dolina alongside a babbling stream. After about half an hour, it branches off to the right, and the blue mark leads into the forest. Here, a steeper climb begins with a tangle of switchbacks by Mažarná cave. The trail ends at the thick hill with a spacious summit meadow and views of the opposite Ostrá, rocky cliffs, and terraces towering above Konský dol and the Turiec basin. It continues with just over an hour's forest walk to Zadná Ostrá. From there, views open up of the majestic peak of Ostrá and Drienok.
The ascent to the rocky monument Ostrá is eased by chains and brightened by a natural rock window. The summit offers deserved views in all directions. The steep descent on the yellow mark through Juriášova dolina is replaced by a gentle green path through Blatnická dolina back to the place where the route began.
