Jaskyňa nie je zaujímavá len svojím tvarom, ale aj významnými archeologickými objavmi. Našli v nej pozostatky jaskynného medveďa a dôkaz, že jaskyňu osídlil človek v mladej dobe kamennej. Do jaskyne je možné vstúpiť cez široký vchod, ktorý sa nachádza pod skalnou stenou žľabu. Po vstupe vás okrem zníženého stropu čaká 45 m dlhá vstupná sieň, z ktorej táto nesmierne zaujímavá jaskyňa pokračuje dvomi smermi – smerom na juh Granátovou chodbou (pomenovanou podľa nálezov ručných granátov z SNP) a na severovýchod Stĺpovou chodbou (je zdobená kvapľovými stĺpmi, stalagmitami a sintrovými misami). Okrem rôznych zákutí poskytuje útočisko pre netopiere. Jaskyňa je v správe príspevkovej organizácie Správa slovenských jaskýň.
V zimnom období kvapkajúca voda v jaskyni zamŕza a dodáva jaskyni krásnu prírodnú scenériu v podobe zamrznutých cencúľov.
