La sezione CAI di Macerata dall'anno 2020 promuove un progetto di tracciatura e diffusione dei percorsi del proprio territorio.
Vogliamo offrire ai soci e agli amanti della montagna la possibilità di consultare e di fruire dei percorsi elettronici verificati e aggiornati dagli esperti della sezione.

AVVERTENZE sull’utilizzo dei contenuti del progetto Azimut:
L'estensione dei sentieri di questa rete è molto vasta e soggetta a rapidi ed imprevedibili degradi per cause naturali o antropiche, per cui le risorse umane ed economiche disponibili sono insufficienti a risolvere tutte le criticità in tempo reale, tuttavia la rete esiste sebbene talvolta possa presentare problematiche di percorribilità e/od orientamento.
Inoltre i percorsi elettronici GPS possono contenere errori dovuti agli strumenti utilizzati oppure alle modalità di rilievo o tracciatura, sono da considerarsi un ausilio per la localizzazione dell’itinerario e per la navigazione e non sostituiscono la carta topografica e gli strumenti tradizionali di orientamento.
Per queste ragioni l'esercizio delle attività informative al pubblico, monitoraggio, manutenzione dei tracciati e della segnaletica da parte del volontariato coordinato dal CAI di Macerata, non esclude l'esistenza di ostacoli e difficoltà naturali nè i rischi connessi alla frequentazione dell'ambiente naturale e chiunque intraprenda un percorso/itinerario ancorché segnalato, lo fa sotto la propria responsabilità di conoscere e saper controllare il mezzo adottato, di indossare un abbigliamento appropriato, di aver curato la necessaria preparazione atletica, di essere a conoscenza delle tecniche di orientamento, lettura del territorio e delle mappe, di essere capace di riconoscere e valutare i rischi del proprio comportamento e le precauzioni per attenuarne gli effetti.
