Tips for safe and enjoyable jogging

In the summer months, preferably run in the early morning or evening hours

Watch out for cyclists and walkers in busy areas

Wear reflective clothing at dusk or in the dark

Car-free paths in the city center are particularly suitable for relaxed jogging

For longer distances, drink enough and be prepared for the weather

Suitable equipment for jogging

The right equipment makes a decisive contribution to a pleasant and safe running experience. Even with basic equipment, jogging can be comfortable and efficient - regardless of your performance level.

Running shoes are the most important piece of equipment. They should fit well, offer sufficient cushioning and suit the individual running style as well as the surface of the route. Expert advice helps to avoid incorrect strain and injuries.

Functional running clothing ensures that moisture is transported away from the body and creates a pleasant body climate. Breathable shirts, running shorts and weather-adapted layers increase comfort in all seasons. Wind and water-repellent materials are particularly recommended in the colder months of the year.

Adequate hydration is important for longer runs or warm days. Small drinking bottles or compact running belts allow you to carry water comfortably without restricting your freedom of movement.

Reflective elements and high-visibility clothing increase safety, especially at dusk or in the dark. Additional light sources can be useful in poorly lit areas.

In addition, running socks, a comfortable fit and flat seams offer additional comfort and help to prevent blisters. If you run regularly, you will benefit from high-quality equipment that is tailored to your personal needs.
