Az állomás Szob nagyvasúti állomásától körülbelül 100 méterre található kétvágányos fejállomás, innen indulnak a vonatok Nagybörzsöny felé. Jegyváltásra a vonaton van lehetőség, WC és büfé a vasútállomáson áll az utasok rendelkezésére.
A kisvasút oldala a Természetjárón itt érhető el.

Public transport
- A szobi kisvasúti végállomás megközelítése elsősorban vonattal ajánlott, Szob állomáson kell leszállni a Budapest-Vác-Szob vonalon közlekedő szerelvényekről.
- A helyközi autóbuszokról Szob, vasútállomás megállóhelyen kell leszállni.

- A vasútállomásról kilépve balra kell fordulni, körülbelül 100 métert kell sétálni a kisvasút végállomásához.
Parking
- Autóval az állomás mellett, az Ipolysági utcán lehet parkolni. Ha itt már nincs szabad hely, akkor a körülbelül 200 méterre található P+R parkolót célszerű igénybe venni.
