Az ívben fekvő kétvágányos állomás a Felcsút felől érkező vonatok végállomása. Az állomásról pár perces sétával érhető el a névadó botanikus kert, amely a kellemes séta lehetősége mellett hónapról hónapra számtalan programmal várja a látogatókat (pl. szentjánosbogár-rajzás, hóvirágünnep, stb.). Az állomáson WC található.

- Az Alcsútdobozi arborétum megállóhely megközelítéséhez az Alcsútdoboz, kastély megállóhelyen kell leszállni a helyközi autóbuszjáratokról, melyek jellemzően Bicskéről vagy Székesfehérvár irányából érkeznek.

- A buszmegállóból körülbelül 800 kilométert kell sétálni az arborétum kerítése mentén, a Puskás Ferenc Sport Hotel irányába elindulva.

- Autóval az arborétum parkolójában lehet megállni, körülbelül 500 méterre a kisvasúti megállóhelytől.
